We are seeking a new group of Teaching Assistants to support and nurture students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). These needs may include anxiety, depression, behavioural difficulties, communication challenges, autism, and ADHD. Therefore, the ability to be empathetic, compassionate, and caring is essential in this role.
Position Details:
Start: Immediate, continuing through to the end of the academic year
Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (ideal for students and parents)
Location: Bristol (BS)
Potential for a contract with the school for the right candidate (if desired)
On-site parking available
What You’ll Do:
Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and assisting with content learning, either one-on-one or in small groups (2-3 students).
Work in a classroom with 8-10 students, alongside other teaching assistants, to support the learning and development of the students.
Build trust with students and create an environment where they can thrive.
Develop positive relationships with classroom staff, school faculty, and students.
Represent yourself and Teaching Personnel in a respectful and professional manner at all times.
Who Are We Looking For?
Passionate individuals eager to start a career in the education sector.
Strong communication skills, reliability, and punctuality.
Experience working in a school setting isn’t required, but a strong sense of dedication and determination is essential.
Experience working with students with special educational needs isn’t essential, but is preferred, whether from a professional or personal background.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
