Overview
We are looking for a maintenance Engineer in Penrith. This role involves repairing and maintaining plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in plant maintenance, a strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations, and the ability to work efficiently to minimise downtime. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team with a competitive salary and benefits package. Working Monday to Friday with OT paid daily.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.Qualifications

Proven experience in a maintenance role, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
NVQ level 3 in engineering
Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the capability to perform repairs on various types of machinery.
Experience with welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
