About the Role:
As a Non-Emergency Ambulance Operative, you’ll be responsible for:
* Transporting Patients Safely: Driving patients to and from medical appointments with care and attention to their well-being.
* Supporting Patient Needs: While transportation is the core duty, you’ll also provide essential patient support, trained to handle safeguarding and basic health care needs.
* Building Trust and Reassurance: Ensuring each patient feels safe and respected throughout their journey.

Who We’re Looking For:
* Experienced Drivers: If you have experience as a professional driver (e.g., taxi, delivery, or bus driving), your skills can transfer smoothly to this role, which combines safe driving with compassionate care.
* Licensed to Drive: Must have held a UK Manual Driving License for at least 2 years, with no more than 3 points on your licence.
* Empathetic and Caring: A genuine desire to support others is essential in this role, where you’ll work with patients who may be vulnerable or in need of reassurance.
* Strong Communicators: Ability to clearly and kindly communicate with patients, creating a calm and supportive environment.
* Physically Able: This role involves assisting patients with mobility, requiring a reasonable level of physical fitness.
* Independent and Proactive: As a self-employed role, successful candidates are those who can manage their own schedule and adapt to a range of patient needs.
