We are seeking a Finishing Manager to join a lead contractor working in partnership with housing associations, councils and institutions to deliver a range of residential and commercial projects.

You will be looking after the final stage of 38 units. We are looking for someone to start immediately as first plots handovers are imminent with remaining rolling out till end of November.

As a finishing manager, your focus will be taking units from decoration stage to handover - Producing high quality, snag free plots with 0 defects.

Duties will include:

* Taking apartments from decoration to completion

* Coordinate and supervise the finishing phase of residential plots, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines

* Manage and motivate subcontractors and site personnel

* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with health and safety regulations

* Liaise with project managers to provide regular updates on project status and resolve any issues promptly

* Maintain accurate site records, including daily progress reports, site diaries, and health and safety documentation

* Ensure all finishing work meets standards

* Must be strong in internals, and proven experience as a Finishing Manager

* High pressure and fast pace site as handover is due in November

* Snagging, desnagging and handing over plots to management

* Reporting into the senior site manager

* Ensuring H&S and the programme is being followed

* Quality assurance when overseing snagging duties and lists are being completed by all sub-contractors on site

Requirements:

* CSCS

* SMSTS/SSSTS

* Proven experience working on internals

* Expeirence taking residential plots to handover

* Previous experience as a Finishing Manager

To achieve the upper end pay band the ideal candidate would need to have a strong background with references who can vouch for your time as a finishing manager on residnetial projects.
