Role: Service Designer

Location: London - (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 Months

Day rate: £450 - £520 inside IR35

Role Description:

Problem/need scoping - deconstruct services, drawing upon user research and service-journey analysis to identify reasons for service failures, seeking out systemic issues
Ideation - run collaborative workshops with service teams and users to ideate from needs, as-is journeys, and system maps to create service ideas, future-state journeys and future systems
Prototyping - service rehearsals, walkthroughs, wire-framing - paper & digital
Output & delivery - blueprints, performance frameworks, discovery to live, org change
work with product managers and UCD leads to develop research objectives and design concepts
Have responsibility across complex services
Help set direction and embed good practice within teams
Make important decisions based on research and understand how this research impacts others
Align team activities with wider programme plans
Must have Public Sector and Government Digital Services experience
