Are you an experienced Senior Building Surveyor seeking an exciting opportunity with a world-leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy? We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Senior Building Surveyor to join our client's growing team in Newcastle.

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality surveying services across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, and public projects.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct building surveys, inspections, and assessments to identify defects, necessary repairs, and overall condition.
Provide expert advice on building regulations, safety, and environmental considerations.
Manage and oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Prepare detailed reports, schedules of condition, and specifications.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Mentor and support junior surveyors, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience

Chartered status (MRICS) is highly desirable.
Proven experience in building surveying, preferably within a consultancy environment.
Comprehensive understanding of UK building regulations and construction standards.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.

On offer for the Senior Building Surveyor:

Competitive salary ranging from £47,5000 to £55,000, dependent on experience and chartership.
25 days annual leave plus public holidays and the ability to buy/sell
10% pension contribution
Private medical insurance
Hybrid working with a 3:2 split
