Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Burton on Trent
Salary: £35k to £40k + Excellent Overtime and Benefits Package
Job Type: Full-timeWe're looking for an additional Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a well-established specialist manufacturer in Burton. The role will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency and quality of a fleet of generators, off-site electrical systems, loadbanks, and similar electrical equipment.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

Installation and commissioning of transformers, loadbanks and gen sets, including accessories at customer sites.
Operating to site-specific safety standards.
Carry out pre- and post-installation inspections to ensure equipment safety, reliability, integrity and quality,
Perform routine service and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults and breakdowns
Adhere to safe working practices and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation and logging any important information.
Provide technical support and guidance to all stakeholders, including operators and client contacts.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in electrical and mechanical systems, particularly in power energy including transformers and loadbanks. Including problem-solving and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, electrical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to electrical and mechanical operations.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
Willingness to travel and work on customer sites as required.Benefits:

A good base salary up to £40k dependant on experience based on a 40-hour week
