The Role

As an Assistant Accountant, you will be an integral part of the finance team, responsible for supporting the preparation of management accounts, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This hybrid role offers a blend of flexibility, allowing you to work remotely while still maintaining a presence in the office when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
Perform account reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy.
Process invoices, payments, and handle account queries.
Help prepare reports for internal stakeholders and support audit processes.

About You

Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and an eagerness to develop their career in accounting.

Essential Requirements:

A background in accounting or finance (minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role).
Actively studying or keen to pursue professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative mindset.Desirable:

Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP or similar platforms
