I am looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Co-ordinator to join a market leading manufacturer at their flagship plant in Derbyshire. You will responsible for providing support across the site, driving & creating a safety culture. As well as assisting the UK HSE Manager maintain the UK-wide HSE management systems.

Description

Providing EHS advice to the site management team and staff
Carry out and review risk assessments for routine and non-routine tasks
Assisting Plant Managers with updating and reviewing the EHS procedures for each site including the Emergency procedures file
Assisting with incident investigation and reporting, as required
Assisting Plant and Production Managers with compliance requirements on a 'as required' basis
Ensuring that each site understands and maintains the necessary level of compliance documentation
Attending quarterly EHS meetings at site
Ensuring audit and inspection issues are undertaken and then entered onto the relevant online platform
Provide back up, and work in tandem with, the UK EHS Manager
Assisting Plant Managers with maintaining environmental site records including the waste matrix, investigating environmental incidents, tracking energy use etc
Liaising with internal and external auditors to facilitate on-site audits
Assisting Plant Managers with producing appropriate EHS documentation
Liaising with external assessors to facilitate assessments on fire, noise, dust, legionellaMonday - Friday (09:00-17:00 - Flexibility is offered)

Profile

An experienced HSE Advisor/Co-ordinator that has ideally worked in a manufacturing environment, as well as:

Trained to NEBOSH qualification is a must
Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and standards
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to train and educate staff on HSE matters
Knowledge in ISO14001/18001 is desirableJob Offer
