The Role:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and delivering multiple projects within the retail shop fitting environment. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
This role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent organisational skills, and a deep understanding of construction fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing retail, commercial, or construction projects and a track record of delivering high-profile fit outs.
What will you be doing?
* Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring all phases—from initial planning to final completion - are executed seamlessly.
* Conduct site visits, surveys, and strategic planning to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
* Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Work closely with Account Managers, design teams, and production departments to align project delivery with client expectations.
* Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and smooth communication.
* Escalate critical project challenges to senior management where necessary, along with proposed solutions.
* Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
* Use data-driven insights to improve project efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
What will you bring to the party?
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in retail shop fitting, construction fit-out, or a similar industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, site management, and Health & Safety regulations.
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and financial control.
* Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including out-of-hours site visits.
