Due to increasing demand our client is looking for experienced Flexographic Printers to join their already established team.
You will be joining a highly successful and international business that offer great career progression opportunities in the future.
Successful candidates will be available to work days, nights and every other weekend worked on a set rolling 4 week rota, have proven track record flexographic printing operations.
Job Responsibilities:
* Control all aspects of the printing process including quality, lay sheets, colour standards, quantities.
* To oversee the press at all times.
* Manage ink levels.
* Capture data accurately.
* Responsibility for cleanliness of the printing press and surrounding area at all times.
* Retain samples as required.
* Carry out quality checks, adherin to quality systems at all times.
* Accurately complete documentation.
* Follow all aspects of Health & Safety at all times.
* Ensure all trainees are aware of all our method statements and working to them in a correct safe manner,
* To inform the relevant person(s) of all problems and of any material deficiencies
* To ensure all aspects of the relevant grading is carried out, questions asked and all aspects of the following grade are worked upon, ensuring future development
* Use prism computer system
* To accurately complete all documentation in a timely manner.
* Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and sharing information.
* Work efficiently towards KPI's.
Succesful candidates:
* Experience within a printing role or industry
* High attention to detail
* Excellent organisational skills
* Calm under pressure and ability to adapt to workloads
* Team player and ability to work independently
