Housekeeping Assistant

Location: Ashtead Hospital, Surrey

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time

Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits

Ashtead Hospital is one of Surrey's leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for self-pay/insured and NHS patients. Conveniently situated close to Leatherhead (Junction 9 of the M25), the hospital is located in tranquil, wooded surroundings. These provide a peaceful environment to aid a speedy recovery.

The role:

We currently have a great opportunity for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Ashtead Hospital based in Surrey.

You will be expected to deliver a first class service to patients, consultants and colleagues. This is an exciting and important operational support role working across departments to facilitate the efficient and timely required hygiene standards. As an integral and valued member of our housekeeping team, you will be required to assist in maintaining the hospitals outstanding reputation for quality and cleanliness.  This is a physical role that requires the operating of heavy duty floor cleaning equipment. A good understanding of Hospital Infection prevention processes would be advantageous.

Some flexibility for occasional weekend work and evening if required

The ability to manage own workload

Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
