About the Role
As a Graduate Town Planner, you will work on a wide range of planning applications, from residential developments to mixed-use projects. You'll be involved in managing projects, preparing planning applications, and liaising with key stakeholders including local authorities, consultants, and clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of planning policies and regulations, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications
Contribute to planning reports, assessments, and technical documents
Conduct site appraisals and feasibility studies
Support senior team members in stakeholder engagement and consultations
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, legislation, and guidelines
Provide general planning advice to internal and external stakeholders
Attend site meetings and planning hearings when requiredThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related field
A basic understanding of UK planning legislation and processes
Some experience within a planning environment (desirable but not essential)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and within a team
