JOB TITLE: Junior Field Service Engineer (Machine Tool)

A summary of the ideal candidate profile:

* Completed an Engineering Apprenticeship.

* 2–3 years of field service experience in machine tools or some experience in engineering maintenance.

* Strong mechanical and electrical engineering aptitude.

* Candidate ideally to be Midland based.

The Role

You will be expected to – as part of the duties and responsibilities of the role, to:

* Installation/Commissioning, Breakdown and Preventative Maintenance of the Roboshot Products.

* Attend customer sites in the UK & Ireland with overnight stay

* Customer Operation/Maintenance Training

* Deliver reports and customer satisfaction documents after the job completion

* Provide customer satisfaction through excellent workmanship and attitude

* Comply with company and customer Health and Safety requirements and standard operational practices

* Flexible with working hours in order to meet customer expectations

Profile

* Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Knowledge

* Experience in a Machine Tool Field Service role

* Have experience of FANUC Controls and EDM Wire Cut machines would be desirable, but full training will be given

* Good analytical & problem solving skills

* Effective verbal & listening communication skills

Personal Attributes

* Ideally you will have served an apprenticeship, have a BTEC, relevant City & Guilds or NVQ with a recognised qualification within the Engineering Industry and have post qualification practical experience, as well as:

* IT Literate

* A positive “can do” attitude

* Demonstrate high quality work ethic

* Hold a clean full driving license
