We have been delivering our services for over 35 years and currently employ over 100 engineers and 50 office staff across the country from Birmingham down to the South Coast. We supply commercial gas and electrical services to a wide range of clients which include Green King pubs, Premier Inns, Brewer Fayres and many more.

Due to our on going work load and further contract wins, we are recruiting heavily for Commercial Gas Engineers to join our team or. The engineer will be carrying out reactive and maintenance works, as well installation if they wish to.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on gas systems to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations.

* Safety Compliance: Conduct safety checks, inspections, and tests to verify that gas systems are operating safely and efficiently. Identify and rectify any safety hazards or compliance issues.

* Emergency Response: Respond to emergency call-outs for gas-related issues, diagnosing problems quickly, and implementing effective solutions to restore service.

* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including service reports, safety inspections, and equipment documentation. * Field based meeting clients - Customer facing position

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

(CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, COCN1, TPCP1A, TPCP1, CoNGLP1PD)

Full Driver's Licence

Package:

* Gas Engineer Package breakdown.

* Commercial Gas Technician/Engineer: £19.70/hr + £25.00 per week lunch allowance.

* Paid weekly

* Contracted to 40 hours plus travel

* Commercial Gas engineer typical earnings £60K+, + overtime + standby fee (£1300)

* Travel - 30 mins

* Overtime pays: Mon-Fri 17:30 to 07:00 - hrly rate x2

* Overtime: Saturdays - 07:00 - 17:30 hrly rate x 1.5, 17:30 onwards hrly rate x2

* Overtime: Sundays all day hrly rate x2

* Overtime: Bank Holidays hrly rate x2 + day in lieu paid at 8hrs.

* On call Out of Hours rota: £100 standby fee, 1 week in 4 (£1,300.00 per year).

* Note: No deductions from overtime pay. * Annual Leave 20 + 8 days

* Statutory Sick pay.

* Company van/fuel card. (No private use).

* Company Pension.

* Company PPE & workwear issued.

* Company Tablet - electronic worksheets.

* Company Testing Equipment issued.

* Company Van-stock issued & auto replenished via Software.

* Progression - investment in engineer upskill training. E.g. commercial changeover, commercial catering, renewable technology. Training proposed after 3 month probationary period
