The Role:
As a Music Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging Music lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, fostering a passion for both the practical and theoretical aspects of music.
Develop and implement a dynamic and engaging music curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners.
Encourage creativity, self-expression, and teamwork through group performances and individual music projects.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Plan, organize, and lead extracurricular music activities, such as choirs, school concerts, and music clubs.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum and contribute to school-wide activities.
Ideal Candidate:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification in Music.
A passion for music and a desire to inspire students to explore and develop their musical abilities.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students with diverse musical backgrounds and abilities.
Experience in teaching Music at secondary level is desirable, but not essential.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
