XCL Group are working with a busy manufacturing company based in Rawtenstall on the outskirts of Blackburn and they are looking for an experienced multiskilled engineer to work on their busy manufacturing machinery. If you have worked within an FMCG environment, then that would be ideal as you would be used to the demanding requirements of maintaining machinery and rectifying any breakdowns as quickly as possible.

Job Responsibilities

* Working with the production departments to minimise any downtime and ensure all machinery is running efficiently and all breakdowns are swiftly rectified.

* Managing installation projects for new machinery and upgrades throughout the factory.

* Carrying out all PPM across the site.

* Complying with all health and safety best practices and promoting this within the rest of the workplace.

* Planning in servicing to minimise any issues that may arise throughout the production processes.

* Training others on everyday repairs and assisting to widen the knowledge of the machines throughout the shopfloor.

Job Requirements

* Past experience working as a multiskilled engineer.

* Ideally have a background in an FMCG environment.

* Fantastic problem solving skills.

* Ideally Electrically Biased.

* Own transport and flexibility in terms of cover during bank holidays.

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm with the possibility of overtime (overtime is paid at 1.5 of your basic rate and is paid on any hours worked over 40 hours each week)
