Shift Mill Operator

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established, growing company on the outskirts of Bury St. Edmunds as a Shift Mill Operator.

This role is ideal for someone with experience working in Panama shifts, who embraces flexible working patterns and takes pride in owning their responsibilities.

The Role:
• Operate three mills in a 24/7 production environment
• Monitor and adjust cleaning and milling equipment
• Ensure top-quality production within strict standards
• Optimise mill capacity and yield performance
• Maintain full compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, etc.)
• Keep the work environment clean, safe, and organised
• Assist with preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance
• Complete shift production and food safety reports
• Load tankers as required

What We're Looking For:
• Experience working in Panama shifts (preferred)
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights
• Valid driving licence & access to a vehicle (essential)
• Previous experience in a similar environment (advantageous, but full training provided)
• Strong initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Computer literacy and understanding of workplace health & safety protocols
• Good level of physical fitness
