Job Title: Chartered Building Surveyor
Location: Glasgow Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a variety of building surveying projects, providing expert advice on property and construction matters, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Advising clients about building/property issues, which can include technical, financial, legal, environmental/sustainability, building regulation and restoration matters.
Deliver projects from inception to completion to meet the projects objectives.
Dilapidations and negotiating the repair works or a financial settlement if required.
Managing projects and/or multidisciplinary teams.
Experience of defect analysis, undertaking building surveys and producing professional reports.
To diligently handle all instructions and to maintain comprehensive records for all work undertaken.
Carry out surveys, inspections, schedules, provide professional services and the management of schemes.
Contract Administration.
Dilapidation Assessment Reports on behalf of Landlord and Tenant.
Schedules of Condition.
Assisting with managing and training a small teamQualifications:

Degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
MRICS qualified.
5 years postgraduate experience in building surveying.
Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office).Benefits:
