Lodestone Recruitment is partnered with a local steel manufacturer who is looking for a Laboratory Technician to join their team. This is a permanent position working for a well established company in the area.

Candidates must have the following experience to be considered:

* Prior experience in Brinell or Rockwell hardness testing

* Experience in chemical testing

* Setting up gauges in metric and imperial sizes

* Sizing sample sizes from steel mill

* Use of Vernier gauge and micrometer

* Tensile testing would be an advantage

In return, the company offers the following:

* Permanent position

* Salary - £26-28k

* 4 day week - Monday to Thursday 5am-3:45pm
