Job Title: Qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant

Location: Derby (DE24)

Start Date: October 2024

Salary: £12.83 - £13.50 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-established and popular local authority maintained infants school based in Derby (DE24) where they encourage young children to learn, grow and explore by delivering outstanding Early Years education.

The school is looking to take on a part-time Teaching Assistant on a day to day basis who is enthusiastic about working with children. The successful applicant will help children to learn numeracy and language skills through games, singing and story telling as well as record children's development and share with parents, carers and other staff.

The successful Nursery Teaching Assistant will have:

Level 2/3 in childcare (required)
Previous experience supporting children in Nursery and KS1
First Aid Qualification (preferred)
An awareness of child protection and safeguarding
A kind and caring approach to children
