Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor looking to lead a phase on a high profile development?

This is a unique opportunity to oversee the second phase of a scheme in East London, with a construction value exceeding £1 billion. You'll play a pivotal role in managing the financial and commercial aspects of the project, ensuring it's delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the commercial management of the phase from inception through to completion, overseeing all phases of the development.
Work with contractors to ensure effective cost planning and management.
Oversee the procurement of key packages, from early works through to fit-out.
Manage budgeting, cost estimation, and financial forecasting to ensure project success and profitability.
Conduct detailed analyses of project costs, materials, and labor, providing accurate cost reports and forecasts.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and fostering strong working relationships.
Monitor the project's financial health, proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions to avoid cost overruns.
Manage and mentor junior team members.What You Need:

Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a residential developer or contractor background.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and regulations, particularly in large-scale developments.
Proficiency with relevant software tools (Excel, project management systems, etc.).
Exceptional commercial acumen with a focus on cost control and project delivery.
