The Role

As an ADHD Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing tailored 1:1 support and small group interventions for students with ADHD.

• Collaborating with teachers to adapt lesson plans and ensure accessibility for all learners.

• Assisting in the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitoring progress.

• Promoting positive behavior strategies and fostering a supportive learning environment.

• Acting as a mentor and role model, helping students build confidence and resilience.

This is a part-time, temporary position, offering flexibility to suit your schedule while

providing a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Experience working with students with ADHD or other special educational needs.

• A relevant qualification, such as a Teaching Assistant certificate or equivalent.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
