Growth has been key to this thriving Accountancy practice based in St Ives, they started as 2 and have now grown to 5 staff with future plans to increase, they have a wide range of clients but their ethos is focused around family, this is important to them as a business but also to the clients that they work with.

Most of their client base started as family run organisations that they have seen grow and now have a turnover into the millions. They focus mainly on SME organisations and provide a full spectrum of accounting and taxation services to their diverse and loyal client base. 

They are currently looking to recruit a qualified Accountant/Assistant Manager to support the two directors, their client relationships are paramount to their success so finding the right person is extremely important to them. 

Flexibility will be offered on working hours, they understand family is important and are happy to offer you the ability to work the hours to suit your needs. This role is a full time position however part time hours will be considered. 

You will require experience in the following tasks - 

- Accounts productions and reviewing the work of others
- Preparation of corporation tax returns
- Preparation of management accounts
- Preparation/review of VAT returns
- Preparation of personal tax returns

You must be ACCA or ACA qualified and knowledge of Xero and previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential. 

Alongside a competitive salary you will be given 22 days holiday plus 3 days off for the Christmas shut down and bank holidays. You will also be given your birthday off if that falls on a working day.  Professional subscriptions will be paid and the company will match pension contributions up to 6%.
