Role - Technical Manager
Location - Manchester

Our client, a rapidly growing business in the food & drink industry, is seeking a Technical Manager to lead their technical team and drive excellence in food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
? Lead and manage the technical team, ensuring compliance with all food safety and quality standards.
? Oversee external audits and customer visits, ensuring the site is always audit-ready.
? Maintain and grow supplier and customer relationships, acting as a key technical contact.
? Ensure compliance with HACCP, BRC, and retailer standards.
? Drive continuous improvement in food safety, quality, and technical processes.
? Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the technical team.

Responsibilities:
✅ Proven experience in a similar Technical Manager role within food & drink manufacturing.
✅ Strong knowledge of HACCP and BRC standards.
✅ Experience working with major retailers is essential.
✅ A solid background in auditing and compliance.
✅ Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team.
✅ Excellent communication skills with a passion for quality and technical excellence.
