Health Care Assistant – Up to 40 hours – £12 p/h - Redcar & surrounding areas

A dedicated and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant is required to join a compassionate home care team in Redcar and surrounding areas.

The succesful candidate will provide high quality care and support to enable people to remain in their own home, living a fulfilled life, which respects their diversity, culture and values.

Role Responsibilities:

* Providing person centred care and support to a person in all aspects of daily living, duties including;

* Personal care - getting washed, dessed, going to the toilet, support with medication, catheter care, help with meal preparation

* Daily activities - companionship including outings and other social activities, shopping, light housework duties, collection of benefits, pension, benefits.

* Taking up all activities detailed on the support plan and reporting any concerns to management

* ​​​​​​​Maintaining records using the care planner app​​​

Qualifications:

* Care certificate and previous experience in a similar role would be ideal

* Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle

Skills Required:

* Motivated, positive and with great interpersonal skills

* Work in a confidential manner sometimes dealing with sensitive information, protect and respect personal information at all times

* Committed to maintaining professional standards and ongoing learning
