The Basics:

Role: Manual machinist - Tool room and assembly department.

Location: Sutton-In-Ashfield

Salary: up to £20.16 per hour / £40884 per annum + OT with earnings of £45000 and upwards achievable.

Hours: Monday to Thursday - 7:30am-4:30pm and Fridays 7:30am-2pm

Contracted hours: 39 per week

Holidays and Benefits: 33 days holiday, Xmas shut down, 7.5% pension, x4 salary death in service.

Overview:

We now require a Manual Machinist to join the toolroom. The tool room consists of milling, turning, grinding and welding.

The ideal candidate / Manual Machinist may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Time Served Apprenticeship - beneficial
Competent at reading engineering drawings
Previous experience in manual machining - milling, turning, grinding for exampleCommutable from: Alfreton, Ripley, Mansfield, Nottingham, Ilkeston and surrounding areas
