An established building contractor specializing in high-end residential and heritage restoration projects is looking for an experienced Estimator. You will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed cost estimates for a wide range of projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and bespoke restorations.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed and accurate cost estimates, covering labor, materials, and other project-specific needs.
Work closely with the project management team to ensure alignment on budgets and project timelines.
Build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating competitive prices and ensuring quality.
Assess project risks and identify cost-effective solutions.
Review and analyze tenders to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices.Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in estimating within the construction or restoration sectors.
Strong knowledge of materials, building techniques, and project management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
