Job Details

JobMatcha are recruiting for a hard-working Site Engineer for a civils project we are involved in based in Thurrock, Essex. The role will be primarily setting out works.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be working with the Construction Managers, Construction of a new Asphalt plant and associated storage buildings and Roads.

You will be assisting with raising Permits to dig and controls, (surveys). Assisting with raising Permits to dig and controls, (surveys). Drainage QA Checking, Level Surveys / Datums, QA Checking of Road construction, QA Checking for Slab Reinforcement concrete pours, QA Checking for Slab Reinforcement concrete pours -Settlement monitoring. QA Checking of Sub-Contractors Instruments. (making sure Checks are carried out and calibration are correct to instruments before use on site)
Key Information:

* 40 hours per week

* Location Thurrock

* 2 months work

Competencies and Requirements for the position:

* Must have Right to Work in the UK

* Must have a valid CSCS Card

* SMSTS

* Experience as a Site Engineer
