Our client, a leading provider in the Surveying sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Survey Technician/Assistant Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis at Hinkley Point C.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in conducting land surveys using total station equipment
Collecting and analysing data to produce accurate maps and reports
Collaborating with the senior survey team to support project delivery
Maintaining and calibrating surveying equipment
Ensuring all surveying tasks are completed to the highest standards of accuracy
Conducting site inspections and adhering to safety protocols
Supporting the preparation of survey documents and drawings
Working flexible shifts, including potential overtime, to meet project demands
Job Requirements:
Experience in surveying, with a minimum of 6 months
Proficiency in using total station equipment
Strong work ethic and a long-term commitment to the role
Good analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and reporting
Excellent communication skills
Relevant qualifications in surveying or a related field
