Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient management of inventory, staff, and logistics. A valid forklift license is required for this position, as you will be responsible for operating forklifts and ensuring safe practices are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and loading products.

* Coordinate and schedule work activities for warehouse staff to optimise productivity and efficiency.

* Train and mentor warehouse employees on proper safety procedures, equipment operation, and inventory management.

* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

* Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

* Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to maintain accuracy.

* Prepare reports on inventory levels, employee performance, and operational efficiency for management review.

* Collaborate with other departments to facilitate timely order fulfilment and resolve any logistical issues.

* Implement process improvements to enhance warehouse operations and reduce costs.

Personal Profile:

* Education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.

* Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role or similar position.

* Ability to operate both Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks.

* Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

* Proficient in using warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
