Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are excited to support a leading distillery in their search for an experienced Distillery Manager to lead their site operations in Elgin. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business at a pivotal time, with significant expansion projects and investments in the pipeline. It’s your chance to take full ownership of the distillery and shape its future.

As the Distillery Manager, you’ll report directly to the Head of Distillery Operations, overseeing site operations, leading a passionate team, and driving continuous improvement across the distillery. With a focus on innovation, growth, and leadership, this role is perfect for someone looking to make their mark in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire the Site Operations team, providing hands-on direction and support.

Drive the development and growth of your team, ensuring everyone performs to their highest potential.

Champion the Continuous Improvement of site operations, enhancing efficiency and production output.

Oversee COMAH compliance and effectively manage risk on-site.

Deliver the strategic 5-year capital plan, playing a key role in exciting expansion projects.

Experience required:

Proven experience in leadership with the ability to motivate, influence, and drive team performance.

Strong technical knowledge of distillation processes – prior experience as a Distillery Manager is highly desirable.

A background in engineering or project management would be a plus, though not essential.

A passion for continuous improvement and a track record of delivering on key business initiatives.
