Job: Therapeutic Children’s Home Registered Manager
Salary: Up to £48k
Location: Swindon

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Manager for a therapeutic children’s home in the Swindon area. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of a five-bed residential home, providing care to young people with emotional, behavioural, and learning difficulties.

Salary & Benefits:

About the Role: As the Registered Manager, you will:

Lead the management and development of therapeutic services for young people.
Ensure compliance with Children’s Home Regulations and provide dynamic leadership.
Foster empathetic, collaborative relationships with staff, children, families, and professionals.
Promote reflective practice and uphold therapeutic values.
Manage rotas, recruitment, supervision, and support for staff.
Ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations and financial controls.
Key Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Residential Children’s Social Care (as a deputy or senior staff member).
Strong understanding of Trauma-Informed Care and therapeutic practices.
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willing to work towards Level 5.
Experience in management and supervision.
Ability to pass an Ofsted Fit Person Interview.
Full UK Driving License and clear DBS check.
