The below job description will outline this position of: Audit Engineer

Typically, this person will responsible for Supporting the Team leader with the off water and on water testing on the systems on the boat, they will be creating snagging lists and tagging parts that need to be fixed.

Duties and responsibilities of the Quality Audit Engineer:

• Support Quality audits, EOL, Stage gates and System testing.
•Support line team leader with initial power up / off water and on water testing of the vessel
•Support team leader with in test fault finding
•Ensure all faults are rectified & signed off
•Attention to detail around documentation creation & sending audits reports through to line manager
•Support with training on installing new equipment
•If external support if required arrange as needed [ Volvo, caterpillar, Garmin etc]
•Attend training sessions as required
•Support dealer support team if required, including Ipswich
•Attend sea trials on new models and existing models if required
•Flexible working pattern required
•Offsite support when required
•Work across all models

Qualifications and requirement for the Quality Audit Engineer:

• Excellent technical skills, providing a finish of the highest standards, with familiarity. across the range of Fairline products (historic product beneficial but not a requirement)
•Diagnostic works as required on mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
•Interpreting Quality & technical standards documentation, installation / operational manuals
