Applications Engineer Required!

Our client specialises in the design and manufacture of high-precision grinding and polishing equipment, particularly for the diamond tooling industry. Due to ongoing success, they are looking for an experienced Applications Engineer to join their team.

(Applications Engineer) - Position Overview

Work on multi-axis CNC grinding machines.
Work in a cross-functional team, collaborating with R&D, production, customer support, sales and more.
Providing technical support and expertise to customers and the sales team.
Understand customer requirements and alter machines accordingly.
Servicing & installing machines and troubleshooting.
Assessments on machine maintenance
Collaborate with design engineers to improve design efficiency.
Creating various documents including manuals and troubleshooting procedures
Training internal teams and customers on machine programming
Travel to customer sites (UK + International)*Please note this is not an exhaustive list and the responsibilities may change in line with our clients need*

(Applications Engineer) - Position Requirements

Proficient in CNC Programming
Excellent communication
Willingness to travel worldwide.
Reliable, and able to manage own workload.
Degree/HND or relevant qualification in engineering (advantageous)
German speaking (advantageous)(Applications Engineer) - Position Remuneration

£40,000 - £45,000 salary (DOE)
Monday - Friday (although some weekend work may be required)
Global travel with paid expenses + additional pay for overnight stays.
