And right now, we’re looking for a Maintenance Planning Manager. Based at our Capenhurst Location, you’ll manage the delivery, development and implementation of the Enrichment Maintenance Planning capability in a safe, compliance and reliable manner. This is inclusive of people and culture, processes, and systems/plants.

The Maintenance Planning Manager will be accountable for providing a range of Enrichment Maintenance Planning services that support the efficient and effective operation of Enrichment operational business units and other activities that are conducted on site.

What will your day look like?

Develop an aligned and integrated approach, framework and operating model on how Enrichment Maintenance Planning Services are planned, prioritised, co-ordinated and delivered across the Capenhurst site.
Managing a small number of Maintenance planners and their associated output.
Applying and improving the standards and policies for Maintenance Planning for all Maintenance Activities across Enrichment whilst being aware of other planning activities and standards in an attempt to harmonise a One Capenhurst approach to planning.
Ensuring the planners define a safe and efficient methodology for all maintenance tasks using PDCA to continually improve the maintenance cycle, this includes elective and reactive maintenance, outages and supporting other requirements such as an Enrichment plant COSER.
Providing KPI reports and performance metrics both for delivery as well as system/process health across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP) to inform data based decision making
What do you need to be great at this role?

Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience
Relevant Project management qualification
Extensive experience as a technical planner, including leading a small team in a technical environment.
Experience in developing complex plans
Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate requirements to all levels of the organisation and liaise with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions;
Familiarity with engineering and maintenance standards / specification and requirements in a highly regulated environment (relevant UK nuclear legislation and regulations)
Ability to plan technical activities, allocate resources, and allocate budget to plans.
