We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our students.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with children who require additional support on an individual basis. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to deliver personalised learning plans, focusing on both academic and emotional development. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the progress and well-being of a child who needs extra support.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to children with specific educational needs, ensuring they are fully engaged in learning.
Assist in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans tailored to the child's needs.
Help with classroom activities and ensure the child is included in all aspects of school life.
Monitor and track the child's progress, working closely with the class teacher and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator).
Provide social and emotional support to help the child develop confidence and independence.
Assist in managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the child's education.Qualifications:

Experience working with children on a 1:1 basis, especially those with special educational needs (SEN).
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
Strong understanding of child development and learning strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with children.
