Tax Manager Opportunity - Midlands Based International Business - £70,000 to £100,000 DOE
Are you a seasoned Tax professional ready to take your career to the next level? Join a dynamic international business in the Midlands and help lead their global tax strategy. We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Tax Manager with a passion for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Authority Relations: Build and maintain excellent relations globally.

Tax Accounting Entries: Prepare for UK statutory accounts and quarterly USGAAP reporting.

UK Corporation Tax Returns: Prepare and manage Group Relief and CIR Returns.

R&D Claims: Assist with the annual process.

Cross-Border Taxes: Navigate royalty and licensing fees filings.

Global Tax Coordination: Liaise with overseas advisors for timely filings.

Intercompany Transactions: Maintain accurate records.

US Tax Payments: Manage Group payments, including State and Franchise taxes.

Compliance: Oversee VAT, PAYE, and other tax returns.

Tax Calendar Management: Monitor and communicate key updates and deadlines.

Forecasting: Maintain and communicate global tax payment forecasts.

Audit Support: Respond to tax audits efficiently.

Ad Hoc Support: Resolve historic tax issues and implement new systems.

Legislation Updates: Analyse changes and recommend actions.

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience: Significant experience in a tax environment with strong Corporation Tax knowledge.

International Accounting: Desirable

Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills.

Influence and Relationships: Ability to build strong relationships and influence outcomes.

Team Player: Collaborative yet capable of independent work.

Organisational Skills: Exceptional planning and prioritization abilities.
