Internal Sales Executive | Permanent | £42,000 | Burton on Trent
We are proudly recruiting on behalf of our client based in the heart of Burton on Trent.
Specialising in the manufacturing of fire doors. We are seeking an Internal Sales Executive that thrives in achieving results with a proactive approach, to support the incredible business with future growth.
Working Monday to Friday 7am-5pm based at their sales hub within the office at Burton on Trent, you will be responsible for acquiring new business, reactivating previous clients and nurturing existing clients.
What our client is looking for:
• Previous experience within a sales management or business development position (with evidential achievements from previous employers).
• Applicants are required to have a full clean driving licence as you will be required to visit clients and attend new business meetings.
• A proven history of liaising with customers and producing quotes
• Experience within a similar industrial sector: timber, fire doors or merchants.
• A confident, trustworthy & positive character
• Willing to work independently but also support the team when required
• Good communication skills – within the team and with clients
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Acquiring new business through contacts and cold leads
• Reactivating previous contacts an discussing new needs
• Speaking to customers on the phone and placing orders onto the internal system
• Producing quotes
• Meeting clients on site to discuss any sales requirements
• Nurture existing clients and build rapports with contacts
• Sales implementation
• Sales tracking
• Supporting with internal systems/booking placement
• Forecasting BD and sales month-to-month
• Generating targets
• Social media management
• Supporting with client set up
• Supporting with invoicing
• Supporting with credit control when required
There will be no personal KPIs set for this role and any bonus will be paid through business incentives.
In return, our client recognises and will reward hard work which will include regular salary reviews with an aim to strive for a salary of £50,000 within the first 12 months, based on companywide performance related targets.
