Commercial Lead (CSA) - Major Construction Project

We are recruiting for a Commercial Lead (CSA) to manage a large-scale project in Belgium. This key role involves overseeing all on-site commercial activities, leading a team of 10+ surveyors on a £200M+ project.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the commercial performance of the project from start to completion
Manage the commercial control of the allocated business unit
Lead monthly cost reviews and manage follow-up actions
Support continuous improvement and technical development within the commercial team
Identify and manage business unit risks and regularly review project risks
Ensure timely and accurate CCS reporting
Ask critical questions to clarify project details and avoid miscommunication
Manage project closeout to the best commercial advantage of the company
Collaborate with the project manager and commercial team to maintain excellent client relationships
Develop and manage project measures and reporting systems
Review and improve business processes and working practices
Ensure projects deliver best value solutions, on time, and within budget
Mentor and provide career guidance to the commercial team
Experience & Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in a commercial role within the construction industry
Degree in Quantity Surveying, ideally chartered or working towards chartership
Experience with electrical, mechanical, and general construction scopes
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members
