A global food manufacturing company, including fresh produce, supplying major retailers, are seeking a HSE Manager to join their team. This is an onsite role with occasional European travel.

Salary Circa £55,000 p.a. + Excellent Benefits, Pension and Bonus 

Location: Leicester

The Role

Be responsible for

Management of Health & Safety Systems
Provide support to the management team by ensuring effective management systems are defined to deliver site and group health& safety/ legal requirements
Always ensuring compliance with HSE policies and procedures
Ensuring compliance with all aspects of food safety and hygiene policies
Promote Health & Safety awareness
Carry out detailed site audits, highlight concerns and implement improvements
Assist in the implementation of projects including investments and new installations.

The Person 

5 years’ experience in Health & Safety within an FMCG business
NEBOSH Diploma ideally but open to NEBOSH certificate if working if food manufacturing
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to engage and inspire others
Ability to impact cultural change
Comfortable working in a matrix structure in an international business dealing with multiple stakeholders.
