My client based outside Thame is looking for a Technical Assistant to join their company.
The candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, to include:
* Helping to support The Projects and Technical Department
* Dealing with maintenance contracts and ongoing projects
* You would be responsible for carrying out repairs, testing and preparing inventories
* Setting up demonstrations for events and exhibitions
* Working with the projects and technical department with technical drawings, manuals and any other paperwork required
* Further key responsibilities will be to carry out design tasks, using AutoCAD and other design packages
* Assist with drawings and documentation for site installation
* Test and program equipment and assist team members
The successful candidate will have:
* Prior design experience and any electrical installation experience would be advantageous
* Good computer skills
* An understanding of hand tools and workshop machinery
* Have good attention to detail and the ability to multitask

* You must have a full clean driving licence.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 9am -5.30pm, 40 hours per week.
