Essential

Extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies, including both manual and automated testing techniques.
Proven experience in conducting both functional and non-functional testing, including performance, security, APIs, and usability testing.
Excellent understanding of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies (Agile & Waterfall).
Experience in creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts across complex integrated systems to ensure thorough test coverage.
Extensive experience of defect management, tracking, reporting and management of defects.
Ability to lead and mentor junior test analysts, providing guidance and support throughout the testing process.
Proficiency in using industry-standard testing tools, such as Azure Dev Ops Test Plans
Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL, with the ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams, including engineers, business analysts, project managers and product owners. Desirable

Prior experience in leading and mentoring junior test analysts.
Experience in mobile application testing including testing on different devices and platforms.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, and experience in integrating testing activities within these frameworks.
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices and how testing can be effectively integrated into these processes.
