Technical Monitoring Inspector – Overview
We are working for one of the largest renewable energy companies in the UK who are seeking Technical Monitoring Inspector to join their team in the North West. They supply and install of Loft and Cavity Wall Insulation, Heat Pumps, Solar and other renewable technologies in the House Building and Domestic/Retro Fit market. They have a proven track record of servicing house builders and domestic customers with quality installation to the highest standards.
You will be responsible for completing technical monitoring Inspections for various energy efficiency improvements and other related interventions. Inspections may be required at various stages of intervention – pre-installation, during installation and post-installation. As Technical Monitoring Inspector you will be required to achieve productivity targets, manage your own workload and report safety issues as appropriate. Most Technical Monitoring will be completed on-site, however some desk-top working may be necessary. Duties include:
• Domestic quality inspections – complete inspections of various energy improvement measures in domestic properties.
• Health and Safety - Reporting safety issues – report various safety issues as appropriate within specified timelines
• Diary management – booking appointments and setting customer expectations.
• Quality – providing excellent quality technical monitoring inspections and great customer service.
• Report inspection result
Technical Monitoring Inspector – Requirements
• Training and certifications– ensure that all appropriate training and certifications necessary to complete technical monitoring inspections are kept up to date.
• Requirements
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to meet and/or exceed the duties and responsibilities set out above.
• Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience relating to supervision, installation or inspection
• DEA Qualification - ideally
• DBS Check
• Driving license (full UK)
• Relevant heating or renewables qualification
• Proven experience of technical monitoring, quality/ Audit or significant experience in a senior supervisory role relevant to the sector.
Technical Monitoring Inspector – Salary & Remuneration
• Salary of £35,000 - £42,000
