On offer is the opportunity to join a multi-site training association who are dedicated to passing the knowledge on to the next generation of Engineers and Apprentices. They work with over 100 companies providing upskill training, HNC/HND, engineering courses and apprentice training. Formed over 60 years ago, they are looking for the next wave of Engineers to grow their teaching team across, electrical, mechanical and machining disciplines.
In this exciting and dynamic role, you will deliver engaging training on key mechanical engineering principles, encompassing maintenance techniques, lathe and milling operations, and the safe use of hand tools. You will also provide instruction on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring a strong focus on health and safety compliance throughout all training sessions. Furthermore, you will facilitate and assess hands-on engineering projects and support innovative research at Levels 3, 4, and 5, playing a pivotal role in shaping the skills and knowledge of the next generation of engineers while fostering a collaborative and inspiring learning environment.
This role would suit an entry level Mechanical Instructor looking for an off the tools role, where you will be trained within the education sector, with a company who will help you with your qualifications and give you the opportunity to influence the next generation.
THE ROLE:
Deliver engaging training on mechanical engineering principles, including maintenance techniques, lathe and milling operations, and the safe use of hand tools.
Provide instruction on hydraulics and pneumatic systems while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards during all training sessions.
