Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Plant Fitter to join them. They are a well-established construction services provider based in Cambridge. This company operates a fleet of machinery, servicing projects across East Anglia and London.

The Role:

As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a variety of construction plant and machinery, including:

Articulated tippers / Dumper 
360/180 machines
Rigid tippers
Low loaders
Hook loaders
Volumetric concrete lorries
Other heavy plant and site equipment
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct planned maintenance and repairs on a wide range of plant equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
Work efficiently to minimise downtime and ensure machinery operates safely and effectively.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Plant Fitter/Plant Mechanic within construction, transport, or similar industries.
Strong mechanical knowledge of plant machinery, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
