About the Company:
Our client specialises in manufacturing and packing tablets and hard-shell capsules for the nutritional industry. With an impressive turnover of approximately £65m and a workforce of around 350 employees, the company is well-established and has ambitious plans for future growth.
The Role:
As a Customer Service Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales Department and acting as a key link between Sales Managers and customers. Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and processing quotations, orders, and pro-formas using Nav.
* Assisting with customer queries and liaising with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
* Providing occasional cover for reception, including welcoming visitors.
* Participating in daily and weekly update meetings.
* Raising invoices and credit notes.
* Maintaining positive and professional relationships with customers.
* Offering switchboard call support to the department when required.
This is a varied role that offers a chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in a sales administration or customer service role (preferred but not essential).
* Excellent communication skills for working with both internal teams and external contacts.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Great attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
* A professional and courteous telephone manner.
* A flexible and adaptable approach, able to ‘think on your feet’ in a dynamic environment.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 8:45am–5pm (30 minutes for lunch).
* Friday: 8:45am–3:45pm (30 minutes for lunch).
Salary and Benefits:
* £23K–£25K per annum, depending on experience.
* Defined contribution company pension scheme.
* 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising with length of service).
