Madisons Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Electrical Supervisor on a permanent basis for a construction contractor covering projects across the UK with the head office being based in Slough, Berkshire. 

This would ideally suit a time served Electrician who is looking to move into a more supervisory role, with aspects of installation and maintenance still involved or an Electrical working Foreman who is looking to work for a main contractor.

Responsibilities

Supporting the M & E / design team on M & E questions during the tendering process.
Attending Client meeting when required
Carrying out Electrical maintenance surveys on existing MSCP.
Producing reports and costs for electrical maintenance works.
Carrying out maintenance works as required.
Changing Emergency Lighting Batteries
Emergency lighting testing
Periodic Testing
Writing & issuing RAMS for Maintenance works.
Attending sites and supervising maintenance & EOD work
Carrying out site audits / sign offs for Electrical installation works on new build projects and report to the site management team.
Attend site meetings with M & E contractors when and if required.
Monitor M & E progress on site and report to the site management team.
Carry out M & E Snagging reports and issue for rectification.
Requirements

Time served Electrical Qualifications
NVQ Level or City & Guilds Equivalent
7671 – 18th Edition.
City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection & Testing.
5 years Industrial M & E contracting based experience.
2 years Industrial M & E Supervision based experience.
Knowledge in contract programs and time frame planning
Positive attitude, self-motivated and not afraid to challenge management in a constructive manner.
Flexible and willing to learn.
Willing to travel as required as the workload requires.
