About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team at our children’s home in Leek. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is looking to step away from long shifts and take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the staff team, ensuring high standards of care.
* Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, compliance, and reporting.
* Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans for the children.
* Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being of children and staff.
* Help maintain compliance with relevant regulatory and legislative standards.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a children’s care setting.
* A genuine passion for supporting children with learning disabilities.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in children’s care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
