My client is a leading construction organization, renowned for providing New Build and Refurb. We are passionate about delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Bid Writer to join our team.
As a Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in helping us secure new business opportunities by creating high-quality, compelling, and compliant bid proposals. Working closely with various teams, you will ensure that all proposals are tailored to client requirements, while maintaining consistency and clarity. Your ability to articulate our solutions and value propositions in a persuasive manner will directly contribute to the success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and write high-quality, tailored bid responses to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and input for proposals.
- Analyze and interpret client requirements, ensuring bid submissions meet all criteria.
- Manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
- Edit and proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
- Maintain a repository of reusable content, templates, and previous bid documentation.
- Continuously improve bid processes and content to increase the success rate.
- Ensure compliance with internal and client guidelines throughout the bid process.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in bid writing, proposal management, or a related role.
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail, with excellent proofreading and editing abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and teams.
- Familiarity with tendering processes and government procurement (desirable).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
